Our hosts, The Spriters Resource, recently underwent a server migration. Unfortunately, we have lost all topics, posts, PM's, and bug reports made after April 29, 2013.

After contacting Dazz, the guy in charge of Spriters Resource as a whole, about the possibility of retrieving the forum SQL database to just before the server migration, this is the bit of grim news he gave me:

Our old hosts are being massive dicks, and not letting us grab any files left over on the server. They're also wiping it tomorrow [June 8, 2013]...

We did have a database backup from May 15th, but the server refused to allow us to upload it. This is why we left the forums in Maintenance Mode for so long: we tried in every way humanly possible to minimize the damage in conjunction with Dazz himself.

Our deepest apologies to those of you who had lost many important topics, especially those in the forum RP boards. We also lost a lot of project-specific information, such as the MKF character cuts announcements and other information pertaining to MKF's hiatus.

In case our forums should ever go down in the future, we highly recommend you follow us and like us on the Fusion Fangaming Facebook Page. We will post any information about site status when we get them.

We appreciate everyone's patience during this unfortunate incident on our boards. We may have lost a full month of important topics and posts, but they can be recreated and bug reports can be resubmitted. It is infinitely better than losing the entire forum and starting over from scratch, like what happened to the IPBFree boards back in July of 2010.
