Realizing that we didn't really have one of these, Cap'n Coconuts and JudgeSpear have released editions of master source Revision 45 for non-developers to make their own levels and otherwise contribute to SMF:R.
This source has some features not present in 0.3.1, including several new levels and a playable Peach, selectable by hitting the Enter key while on the world map. Players can use her floating ability by holding up at the top of her jump.
You will need Game Maker 8.0 Pro or 8.1 Standard to create and test levels. If you have the lite version of either, you will be able to make levels but will be unable to test them.
Note: this source has not been beta tested and as such may have some minor issues.
