Frog Mario in Super Mario Fusion Revival is currently like this:

Now for the upcoming v0.4 release of Super Mario Fusion Revival, the Frog suit has been completely revamped:

The Frog Suit is now nearly 100% accurate to SMB3.

Frog Mario is very ponderous on land and very graceful in the water.

*Swim speed boost added (hold down the run key to swim faster)
*No more mega-high jumps, but Frog Mario gets very good jump lengths.
*Proper animation and swim sounds,
*Includes the unique 16-bit frog jump sound from Super Mario All-Stars.
*Idle swim animation implemented
*Ponderous land movement and enhanced swimming ability nullified when Frog Mario is holding a shell, carrying a veggie, or riding a vehicle. This is the only way Frog Mario can get up to turbo run speed on land.

Differences:
*Frog Mario can still slide down hills (in SMB3, he can't do this)

Still don't care very much about the Frog Suit, but also still a fan of engine improvements, so more power to you, I guess.

Then he would have just come out of the blue and said Peach was the only one getting a frog suit power-up, otherwise he wouldn't have said the other characters. :P

I certainly hope no more characters get cut. Really looking forward to playing as Peach. (Don't you judge me)

I never really liked the frog suit in SMB3, the new moveset always threw me off.
Not that I'm saying I don't like the Frog revamp though.

Same here. Admittedly, the reason I'm waiting with bated breath for new characters is I want to make a Daisy skin for Peach. Come to think of it, has anyone made, or is planning to make, a skin mod for SMFR?

We currently have no plans to externalize player sprites for SMF:R. Perhaps once we get a multiple character system going then it's possible.

Bad news everyone. We've decided to make more character roster cuts. Mario and Peach are now cut. Now Yoshi is a standalone character and he gets Mario as a rider powerup. When Yoshi takes damage, Mario runs away with a "MAMA MIAAAAA!" scream.

In light of this change, we renamed the game to "Super Yoshi Fusion Revival".

On a serious note, another suit that should see a revamp soon is the Tanooki suit. The Statue Morph will gain its renowned enemy smashing ability; right now in SMF:R, the Statue Morph does not grant any godly stomp powers, only the invincibility.
