Skin Mod System For The Final?

I had an idea with all of these skins being made. Since the 1.0 version of the game will come out in a  while, wouldn't it be a great idea to allow the player to choose skins?

They could also be purchased in the game's store for rupees or available when the character is unlocked from story. I mean, with so many skins out there - I wouldn't mind being able to customize from the very start. Some of the skinners here actually have already contributed levels, and I'm sure it wouldn't require a lot of work to allow a player to change a skin from the character selection screen (like Megaman to X and then to Megaman Z and Megagirl with the arrow keys, for example.)

Of course, you could always add skins, but it wouldn't be bad to have some skins in the vanilla version of the game from the get go. It also gives the illusion of more players. That can't be a bad thing, because you all know as well as I do - even though there's a smorgasbord of characters already in the roster, someone's going to complain that "X Character wasn't available" for example.

So adding the skin change option would be a major plus to the game. Of course, I'm not sure how much programming it would take to make a skin change system. But I don't believe it would be that difficult and MKF would benefit heavily from it.

There's already an idea floating around like this for one extra skin slot for each character. I'm probably wrong on this, but I think Obreck was going to make this system, but he has real life problems going on, so unless someone else makes it, we may not get it for a while.

Yeah basically, this guy named Obreck who is in charge of coding the rest of the characters left for a while because he was pretty busy, he was going to do that but he disappeared again. He came back a few months ago and we haven't seem him since. The outcome looks unclear for now until then.

Alright, I was just curious. I hope things get better for Obreck and he code the system, because this seems like it would really benefit the game.

A skin mod would be really cool. But I don't think it will be made.
