MKF General Discussion Posting Guidelines

1.) READ THE FAQ BEFORE POSTING. If you have a question about MKF in general, chances are it is answered in the FAQ.

2.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW CHARACTERS. MKF already has so many characters planned, plus a whole lot more that are unfinished.

3.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW ENEMIES. As of July 2010, the MKF Dev team is focused on getting the game done, not adding any more unnecessary extra enemies.

4.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW GAME FEATURES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: POWER-UPS, SUITS, LEVELS, AND GAME MODES. As noted above, the team is focused on getting the game done.

5.) DO NOT POST BUG REPORTS HERE. The MKF Bug Tracker is the place to do so.

6.)DO NOT ASK ABOUT RELEASE DATES FOR THE NEXT VERSION. We do not give out release dates. Why? If we announce a date and we miss it, people will get disappointed. New versions will be released as they get done.

Any post that contains any of these things will be binned on sight.

Hitler Plans A Let's Play

Now that 0.5 is released, Hitler explains to his generals his plan to do a Let's Play of it.

It's the Fegelhitler. The incompetent, good for nothing Fuhrer that is the primary target for Fegeline, professional prankster. I actually kinda find the Hitler rants and related videos actually funny, so I can understand.

There's PLENTY of lets plays on the internet in general where it's some guy playing the game and getting mad at it due to difficulty and what not.

This has to be one of the most pointlessly unnecessary things I've seen. Just....take away the fact that it's Hitler. Take that feature away, and it's some angry german guy yelling at how difficult a difficult boss is.

Its not unique, and it's not funny. The ONLY thing that makes it special is that it's supposed to be Hitler who is playing this.

Making fun of Hitler can be funny. A fantastic, classic example of this is The Producers.


This is just dumb as hell, and a complete and utter waste of time.

Okay, so people here won't exactly laugh at Hitler being humiliated when Air Man Ga Taosenai starts playing. But there's no harm in trying to combine an LP of a video game with audio from Downfall. And there's a chance it could get more people to download the latest release.

It's just clips from a scene in a movie where Hitler is pissed off with his staff or whatever with how things are going poorly for his armies.

I don't know the exact movie, nor do I know what the scene is about exactly, but that same exact scene has been parodied a multitude of times, and better, with replacement subtitles so that Hitler is complaining about something else, like getting banned from Xbox Live, or the results of an election, or whatever.

Even knowing the original context, it doesn't make "Hitler getting pissed off from playing a genuinely difficult boss" any funnier.

Oh, well if it's a tired, overused meme then just blech.  Shame on you, CambridgeSMERSH, for wasting our time with this crap.
