MKF General Discussion Posting Guidelines

1.) READ THE FAQ BEFORE POSTING. If you have a question about MKF in general, chances are it is answered in the FAQ.

2.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW CHARACTERS. MKF already has so many characters planned, plus a whole lot more that are unfinished.

3.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW ENEMIES. As of July 2010, the MKF Dev team is focused on getting the game done, not adding any more unnecessary extra enemies.

4.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW GAME FEATURES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: POWER-UPS, SUITS, LEVELS, AND GAME MODES. As noted above, the team is focused on getting the game done.

5.) DO NOT POST BUG REPORTS HERE. The MKF Bug Tracker is the place to do so.

6.)DO NOT ASK ABOUT RELEASE DATES FOR THE NEXT VERSION. We do not give out release dates. Why? If we announce a date and we miss it, people will get disappointed. New versions will be released as they get done.

Any post that contains any of these things will be binned on sight.

Yeah you can climb the vine but I kept jumping around and couldnt grab hold of anything I managed to get past it anyway by using rolls jetpack upgrade but I don't think theres any other way over unless you got a character that can jump far.

why don't you just keep the UP key pushed the whole time? you'll never fall that way; once you're close to the next platform, push the up key only once so Mario holds onto it and then just jump

No wait I figured it out I didnt think you could grab hold of the diagonal vines :coy:

What about the secret exit in Lakeshore Paradise and Dire Dire Docks?

Also, how do I defeat General Guy?

Why do people keep asking about sekrit exsitz? O_o they are secrets.. SECREEEETS! in Dire Dire Docks, there is one of those on/off switch thingies in the room where you have to unlock a warp pipe, and there is an orange one under water that

Yo Defeat general Guy, you have to chuck shy guys at the light bulb on his tank. then once that is broken, you have to blow him up with the bob-ombs he sends after you.

Speaking of Secret exits.. How the heck do I break those blocks over an orange warp pipe in the Egyptian Tomb? I couldn't even get Wario's Butt slam to break them.

My characters have no relation to Veggie Tales... just because some of them lack limbs does not mean they are related, inspired by, or knockoffs of Veggie Tales.

what? what shameless plug? I don't see a shameless plug!

Hidden?  Backtrack?  The lock is in plain sight by the flagpole, and I don't think you can backtrack through the pipe!

You two are talking about two completely different levels.
As for your question Bahmo, keep in mind you can get anything as a reward for finding all the red coins.

Hi there,

Just wondering about the secret exit on planet bomber... does it have anything to do with the red coins?--they all disappeared.  :cookie:

Meh, I think the topic I tried to merge in here went through a wormhole and was lost forever in a loophole of the space time continuum.

But to the guy that asked, yes, Planet Bomber's secret exit is related to the red coins, get them all.

"But to the guy that asked, yes, Planet Bomber's secret exit is related to the red coins, get them all."

Thanks for your reply

Thought this might consist the case... seems time for a dose of healthy debugging as most of the red coins do not register as red coins but as normal coins. Collected 7 of 8 the first time through but missed one right before accidently touching the black bomberman... thought "whatever" and played the level again but the "red coins" before the third checkpoint had become normal ones.

Anyways, tried collecting the remaining red coins in hopes that the red coins would reset but on the third time around... same glitch.

Any suggestions on getting them to return?

Probably going to address this glitch in more detail in the MKF Bug Tracker as it has also happened on two other stages.
