MKF General Discussion Posting Guidelines

1.) READ THE FAQ BEFORE POSTING. If you have a question about MKF in general, chances are it is answered in the FAQ.

2.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW CHARACTERS. MKF already has so many characters planned, plus a whole lot more that are unfinished.

3.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW ENEMIES. As of July 2010, the MKF Dev team is focused on getting the game done, not adding any more unnecessary extra enemies.

4.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW GAME FEATURES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: POWER-UPS, SUITS, LEVELS, AND GAME MODES. As noted above, the team is focused on getting the game done.

5.) DO NOT POST BUG REPORTS HERE. The MKF Bug Tracker is the place to do so.

6.)DO NOT ASK ABOUT RELEASE DATES FOR THE NEXT VERSION. We do not give out release dates. Why? If we announce a date and we miss it, people will get disappointed. New versions will be released as they get done.

Any post that contains any of these things will be binned on sight.

One of the things that attracted many people to MKF was that "anything" could be in it (which was maybe partially true, once), which led to them thinking that everything could be in it.  Even at this point, when the game's content is pretty much set in stone, some people still believe this game can and should have whatever they want it to have.

In seriousness I do believe we got carried away. Once we complete the levels then we can tweak the charaters to be able to beat the stages. Not the other way around. A lot less work in the long run.

I have heard of reports saying that ROB is going to be a playable character. Is he still planned or has he been scrapped?

Well, not so much "we" as "the Team". A lot of this stuff was accumulated by the old Dev Team back in MKF's heyday, which we're now cleaning up the aftermath of.

He's been scrapped last I heard. Basically, everyone in this image is going to be in.

Guys Waluigi is still in. The sprites for him are done. I believe R.O.B. is the only scrapped character.

But all in all this game is the biggest Fangame I've ever came across. This game is Bigger than even Card Sagas Wars.

Amy is still planned too, I've just PM'd her final version to Del. He hasn't said anything yet. about fire brand and samus though, we wont see any progress on them until Obreck get's back.

Since were talking about the secret chars; I've got a question, that bugs me for a while.
From what I heard, Waluigi's suits are all decided, but what is with the other secret char? Do they have got their suits decided already? If yes, then which suits do they get?

Yes the other secret characters suits have been decided.
Read the wiki for info for every character and their suits.
