It all looks like static images to me. It might symbolize what kind of level you'll play, the map is actually the world scaled down so we can see everything (hence the name "world map").

OHMYGOD this looks so epic  I just can not believe this is happening all those new levels characters and those new maps really clean up the game before the world system was kind of messy but this is so cool!! you guys are AMAZING

Lars revamped W2 to W8's maps, I only remade W9's. But yeah, all of the world maps are fully organized now, with the secret exits/levels set in their respective places, also the switch palaces, world exits, minigames and everything is in place now.

Actually you only saw three. The last one was W9, the one before it was W4, and those like 6 or so others were all W1.

So the Mushroom Kingdom Map is no longer one big map eh? Is it like in Super Mario Fusion when you jump through warp pipes you reach another part of the Mushroom Kingdom?

Im exited can't wait to see what is new and how it is going to look and play. This also brings the project one step closer version 1.0!
