I still think IPBFree was the best forums we ever had. While Fusion Fangaming has become excellent in its own right (has there been any extended downtimes here lately?), it cannot hold a candle to the awesomeness that IPBFree was. As for Zetaboards, I always felt that place was sloppy, so it is my least favorite forums out of the three we have had so far.
I think the reason IPBFree went down is because they got into legal trouble using Invision Power Board's software in a manner that violated its EULA. Because it was a legal matter, the IPBFree guys could not say anything about it publicly.
