Wow this looks pretty awesome Gladiacloud! Will there be a boss as well?

BTW, you wrote "7-5 Hydrocity Zone", yet in the official level list said stage is listed as 7-3. Did it change?

Gladiacloud here.

I think it's time to reveal my new WIP. Well, it is not exactly new to 100%, it is a level that I designed in the beginning, when my level designing was really poor.

I can not show you my current work, since I have not started yet, but I can show you how it was. ;)

a few ideas for the level

- I don't know if it's even worth having the snowball gimmick in this level, and just have the enemies being regular enemies that don't turn into anything, but if you want to keep it, it would be pretty tough and resource-spending to make a snow bro to help you, or to make a gun that slowly turns them into a snowball, covering them up gradually, and then once they're a snowball, make them turn back to normal after a while, you'd need lots of sprites for that

instead, how about just reusing the ice rod we already made and the regular characters' ice weapons to do this? the enemies would have hitpoints (40-50 maybe), and if they're hit with an ice weapon when they have less than 15 HP, they instantly turn into a snowball you can then use to kick

- you could also make 1 screen rooms (320x240) like the original game, and you can't get past the room until you kill all of the enemies in it; once you kill them, you instantly warp to the next one

- after clearing some rooms, perhaps you can have a vertical autoscrolling one like the one you showed in your video already

Nice to know you're reviving that level, I thought it had potential at the time, though it definitely needs work.

I also have a bit of a surprise. I've been checking out the original Hocus Pocus in its Midi format, and I thought it was a pretty good experiment to learn FL Studio, so I made a few Remastered Songs! Land of Lattice is remastered as well, check them out.

EDIT: Level 1 music updated, posted on YouTube.

Actually I have a plan to turn enemies in snow balls. If I fail, I will follow your advice.

D-Turbo, thank you for the arranged music of Hocus Pocus, maybe you can send it at Aura.

Del, don't forget the Hydrocity Zone video lol

EDIT: This time the Snow Bros enemies are not static!

Even if it was an early piece, I'll have to admit that it was a lot better than what I was able to do.  I couldn't even do the scrolling correct.
