Fangame Showcase Posting Guidelines

BEFORE POSTING, READ THESE GUIDELINES:

The Fangame Showcase board is for fangames that have significant progress, which means at least one of the following:

*Screenshots and/or videos.

*Playable demos of the game (no engine tests)


Also, if you find fangames made by others, feel free to post them here!


For fangame ideas and development discussion, help, and recruitment, please post over at the Game Development and Ideas Discussion board.

Any post on this board for fangames that do not have sufficient progress will be moved to that board.

Abobo's Big Adventure

I for one have often read the website I-Mockery and played its games.  Its biggest project has been Abobo's Big Adventure, which has been shown at Comic-Con twice before.  Think Abobo's Big Adventure as Mushroom Kingdom Fusion on marijuana.  It seems to be almost finished as there's a new trailer!

It took me ages to get through the Balloon Fight section . . . then I died on the wrestling section, and when I discovered it took me back to the beginning of the Balloon Fight section, I gave up.

My favorite aspect would have to be eating the heads of children to regain health.
Normally I'd find that a bit revolting, but I just laughed when I saw it in this.

I've actually beaten the game more than once. Right now, I'm trying to unlock all the medals to beat the game 100%. I'm almost done. I just need to find a couple more of the secret medals and then get the "finish the level with no damage" medals. I almost got the balloon fight no damage medal, but I got hit by a spark at the very last second... :facepalm: The one I think I'm going to have the most problems with will be the Contra levels no damage medals (all three of them...). >_> If anyone needs help finding some of the secret medals or you know where a few are, just post it here. I can help, and I need help. :3
