XFR General Discussion Posting Guidelines

BEFORE POSTING, READ THESE GUIDELINES:

1.) DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW FIGHTERS. Adding new fighters to an already huge roster (over 30 as of July 15, 2011) is of the absolute lowest priority.

2.) NO NEW STAGE SUGGESTIONS. All stages to be made for XFR have been decided.


3.) There is no native gamepad/joystick support. To play XFR with your gamepad/joystick, you must run a joystick-to-keyboard emulator and configure it accordingly. Please do not make any posts about the lack of native gamepad support. This is the most effective workaround to this issue.

Any post that contains any of these things will be binned on sight.

Where can i find guides or hints for this?

I have no idea how to accomplish missions in most of these, and/or don't know what exactly i'm supposed to be shooting or not shooting.  I'm not sure how i'm supposed to know when the radar or whatnot is overloading as i don't know what to look for, and i don't know *insert enemy/plane/whatever name* is, etc etc.  I suppose i was supposed to have played these other games before and would know what these are if i had, but sadly i have not.

there seems to be a lack of such advice readily available here. o-o  I would have thought there would be tips or pages on thing here and there about the games..

Oh!  i think there is something wrong with the Lord British fighter.  when i get the laser upgrade, it shoots one or two ripple lasers, then only fires the hawk winds.  (I think that's what they are, the blue missile things that go to the side then up)  I have nothing to shoot straight ahead with! x-x
