SMFusionRevival - v0.3 Beta
« on: October 15, 2011, 09:05:25 pm »
Super Mario Fusion Revival v0.3 Beta has been released!

Installer: http://www.mediafire.com/?23tbzyz221ch051 (55.16MB)
ZIP file: http://www.mediafire.com/?e0hnl6yborz9u8r (55.52MB)
Note: the ZIP file is for people who cannot run the installer version for any reason. They are both the same game.

LAST MINUTE NOTES:
*The delay when returning to the map screen for any reason is due to FMOD clearing file handles. We have found out that not doing this caused the game to become more likely to crash the longer it has been running.
*There is a Warp Zone Pipe near the beginning of World 1's map. Use it to quickly travel to the 5 currently completed world maps.
*There is an error in the in-game help file. The key to destroy secret map locks is the PgDn (Page Down) key, not the Page Up key.

F.A.Q.
======
Q. How do I customize my controls?
A. Press the F10 key at the title screen.

Q. How do I select between 8-bit and 16-bit Mario sound effects?
A. Press the F8 key at the title screen.

Q. What characters are playable?
A. Only Mario is playable at this moment. We will add new playables such as Luigi and Peach in upcoming versions.

Q. Why can't I save my game?
A. Game saving disabled until a new save system can be implemented.

Q. Where is the tutorial level?
A. It is located next to World 1's START map tile, which is the tile Mario is on the map when the game starts.

Q. In the tutorial level, I lose my powerups and Yoshi when I clear it. Why?
A. The tutorial level is designed that way. You cannot carry over coins, powerups, reserve powerups, or Yoshi out of the tutorial level.

Q. Why can I move anywhere on the map?
A. For the beta, all map paths are open.

Q. I do not want to find the secret exit to clear a secret map lock. What do I do?
A. Press the PgUp (Page Up) key when you are adjacent to a secret map lock to destroy it and open the path.

BUGFIXES
-Fort Reznor: First moving platform is a tiny bit off. It goes too far to the right, too
little to the left.
-Fort Reznor: The tileset lava has the wrong depth in the checkpoint room. Can see the
podoboos on top of it.
-Sunstroke Sands: The Boomerang Bro after the bonus room falls through the floor
shortly after it is onscreen.
-Tetra Trouble: The final Charging Chuck is unfair. People who don't take the bonus
room can't avoid it easily.
-Frigid Fortress: Thwimps removed from final section
-Boo Belltower: Odd collisions in the spike pit.
-Koopa Airbay: Tileset for the latter section of room 1 is missing.
-Koopa Airbay: Missing Collisions for the ceiling at the very end of room 3. Right before
the large room with the doors.
-Doomship Assault: Giant cannon at the end of the Enemy Bros room can fire backwards.
-Doomship Assault: The cannons in the boss room keep shooting after the boss is dead.
-Bowser's Keep: First room has no music
-Mushroom House on Desert Isles does not do anything
-Regular skeleton koopas can be killed by hammers. The collapsed form of them of is
immune to hammers.

OTHER FIXES
-World 1-4 (Sunstroke Sands) significantly rebalanced to be much easier. Angry Sun does not start attacking until after checkpoint.
