I like the effect with the checkpoint room flooding.
And the creator of a topic always has the right to post in it if s/he's got something new.

Good timing, Gladia. We plan to expand the World 2 map to be similar to World 1's map, where each continent will be its own screen. By then, we should have Europe in its own map section, and it should be big enough to put Venetian Tides in.

This is looking good.  From that last screenshot it appears the tank will be available underwater.  Looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

Hmm . . . I know that you didn't want to have a lot of vehicles, but would it be a lot of work to re-skin and slightly modify the Metal Slug into the Slug Marine while underwater?
(That is, it would be the same object but have an underwater/not underwater bit that changes the sprites and a few other things.)

Perhaps we could add the Melty Honey (the tanks with the bulldozer blades) into both SMFR and MKF, and have them plough through brick walls and stuff?

It's time to reveal my new SMFR level:

Arabian Nights, world 2.

This level should be designed for MKF, but it has been scrapped, and so I decided to design it for SMFR.

The level now is 50% complete, I hope to finish it soon.

I always appreciate a Middle Eastern theme.

This looks great as usual, Gladia. Can't wait to see it in action.

Interesting.

But why are there numbers above the carpets?

I don't know. I used the SMFR source where Riverroad has created the lifts for MKF's World 6 exit.

Double post :P

Finished working on world 2 levels, I can finally go to world 4 levels.

This level is called "Bleeding Mansion" and I have not decided yet if it will be a special level or a ghost house. Well, we'll see.

That moon is certainly striking . . . but what do those numbers mean?

Bleeding Mansion can be the ghost house level of World 4 as the original plans for the level no longer fit the SMF:R theme.

Also, not quite sure about the numbers, but they have no huge significance to the gameplay (I think).
