I thought jdogindy was working on ceres station, is he/she not finished yet?

well, that was a while back and we haven't seen much from it since then, and no offense to JDog but he has left many unfinished levels before so that's not enough to mark it as claimed and deny others from working on it if they want to (yet)

EMB, you seemed to have worked on your roll skin very quickly. :O

stay on topic please

When I actually show some serious progress with Ceres Station, then it can be claimed as mine.  Until then, it's up for grabs for anybody else.  I may not have a life, but my procastination problems are legendary.  And that's not a good thing.

You didn't offend me: you're being honest.

the most noticeable change is probably W5's WB level is now Lab of the Fusionist, we decided to make that level the WB because it's huge, epic and hard, and we're changing many things in the plot anyway so it can be worked around; castle gehenna was removed

Castle Gehenna was basically a relic from the old days, when the original boss was Beauty.  Since Lab of the Fusionist was completed and given its epic scale, it's a lot more fitting for that to be the WB Stage.

Noooooo, no Beauty/Vanity, gosh darn it to heck, and I thought I had come up with a good idea to save the character. Oh well...

Wonder how the World boss fight with the Fusionist will be. :P

That character was cut long ago, like two years ago. You're a little late.

Oh, just a little late. XD

Altough makes me wonder on what the backstory of Gehenna will be now without her.

BTW, I was thinking about doing a Klonoa level perhaps for World-1, I was thinking on basing it on the Moonlight Museum from... Klonoa Moonlight Museum. I had posted sprites back when it was just an idea, but I'm going to try and make it.

Altough I don't have Game Maker, what can I use to make the level? :S

Well, we use Game Maker to make the game, so you gotta have that, obviously.  It's easy to download, although you'll need the Pro edition to test the actual game.

Plus, all the levels are pretty much set in stone, even Minus World.  You'll have to do a lot of convincing to get a new stage in, and even guys like Lars have stages that aren't going into the game.

So, that's pretty much it.

Hey, just out of itnerest (and it is really no bug secret since it is marked as blue):

Someone apparently works on 2-WB Bridge to Morden's Base. So this is no real secret to anyone reading the level list. What I wonder however is, who is working on this level? :) Would you tell us? I would really be interested in who the person is. Thanks :)

EDIT: Please Del, tell me that it is you. :)

That information is currently classified.

Go forth, and read from the Book of Gord. Bask in the wisdom and glory that is The Gord.

Question (as a player) because I can't read and analyze every single one of those names: Are any of those levels from Cave Story?

No. Maybe one of the classified levels but so far no.

I hope one of the unclassified ones are. Especially since it would be awesome to get, say, the Spur as a gun. I dunno, thinking out loud.

This makes me wonder if the level list should be updated to reflect some of the new stages that have been completed, but are not in 0.5

Great list here, can't wait to see all the levels in the game^^

The "Traitor Kamek"? Kamek will betray Bowser? Wow, that is almost impossible, he must have an INCREDILE reason to do this!

I don't have Game Maker. However, I would still be interested in contributing somehow. Could it be possible to create mockup maps of potential levels listed on the original post? I know WhiteRoseBrian did that a long time ago (before the transfer), and I'm unsure if you guys would still allow it.

So I was thinking of sketching up a design for Wily Citadel 3, but putting an unexpected twist on the level.

It would take place inside Wily's supercomputer and have elements of Mega Man Battle Network in it, including the Battle Network enemies from Neo Tokyo. The idea is Wily would have recieved the Life Virus from his BN counterpart and plans to unleash it as a failsafe should his scemes fail.

You'd enterthe computer using the "Pulse Transmission System from Battle Network 3". Of course, the Life Virus will be the boss fought on a Battle Network style battle screen.
He'd have all his attacks from his fight and the Life Aura, which you need to wait for him to drop to attack him. Without projectiles, you'll need to pick up and throw the Scuttle Viruses at him.

Here's a good explanation of the original fight (skip to 8:01)
