Hey there
« on: August 06, 2011, 07:16:19 pm »
Hello, I'm TheomanZero.  I'm a big fan of ROM Hacks and fangames, and I first found out about MKF via that video on YouTube which compares the original Bubble Man level from Mega Man 2 with Fort Bubble Man.  After seeing that I knew I had to see what MKF was all about.
The original MKF Reactor was pretty much the first forum of which I was an active member.  I lurked on Sonic 2 Beta for a while, but never joined because it seemed like they had high expectations of their members and I wouldn't fit in.  MKFR seemed a lot more friendly, so I joined after a brief lurking period, and my experience there encouraged me to join other video game-related communities as well.
I'm pretty much just a fan who hangs around because I have an intense interest in the development of this game.  I have a tendency to care about minutiae that most people ignore, like control schemes, HUDs, and specialty cases in game physics.  Unfortunately I sometimes can't see the forest for the trees in this regard.
I have an unfortunate tendency to piss people off inadvertently, perhaps because I compensate for being shy in real life by being more forceful online.  Also I actually care about spelling and grammar, which it turns out people hate being corrected about.  Plus I have some peculiar feelings about using Japanese words that should perhaps best be kept private.
All in all, what I want most is for MKF (and all other Fusion Team Projects) to be the best game it can possibly be, and if it seems like I'm being obnoxious, there are probably good intentions behind it.
(Oh, and if anyone here has connections to a publisher by any chance, please have a look at my brother's website, linked to in my signature.  He's really very good!)
